Three tips to getting your project off the ground

January 2016

Project management feature

As 2016 kicks off, so do new projects. Successful project management requires a can-do attitude, persistence and attention to detail.

Here are three useful tips for project management:

Plan: Prioritizing planning is time well-spent, as it provides a clear overview of the whole project. Make sure to specify the project's scope, and identify key objectives, initial costs and any risks.

Define milestones: Produce a timeline with key project milestones, including those respectively responsible for review and sign-off.

Recruit the right team: Carefully select team members and thoroughly brief them, so that they understand what is expected of them, as well as how their contributions will benefit the project.
