Airports are no longer just a place to embark and disembark people or load and unload cargo. Today’s Airports have become vital economic engines facilitating an integrated multi-modal flow of people, goods, information and capital.
Airports will continue to support and drive economic development as they develop and diversify their business model that in turn will have a major impact on how Airport Operations are managed.
The Airport Operations Diploma Program will provide participants with a broad understanding of Airport Operations in the areas of Airside Operations, Terminal and Landside Operations and Business Operations and prepare them with the knowledge to successfully address the operational and business needs of 21st century airports.

To achieve the Airport Operations Diploma candidates must successfully complete the following three courses:
1. Airside Operations (Available now)
The Airside Operations course provides participants with a broad understanding of airside operations at an airport. Participants will develop an understanding of the various components of Airside Operations and how these components interact with each other to form an operational system.
The Airside Operations course consists of the following seven online modules:
Module 1 - Airside Infrastructure, Facilities and Personnel
Module 2 - Safety Management
Module 3 - Airside Operations
Module 4 - Emergency Management
Module 5 - Airside Security
Module 6 - Airside Operations and the Environment
Module 7 - Industry Safety Performance Indicators
2. Terminal and Landside Operations (Available Now)
The Terminal and Landside Operations course will teach participants how to optimize airport terminal and landside operations to provide a positive passenger experience in harmony with security requirements and revenue generating activities.
The Terminal and Landside Operations course consists of the following five modules:
Module 1 - Customer Experience Management
Module 2 - Airport Passenger Terminals
Module 3 - Landside Operations
Module 4 - Baggage and Cargo
Module 5 - International Perspective and Regulations
3. Airport Business Operations (Scheduled release June 2013)
The Airport Business Operations course will provide participants with an understanding of the various functions that underpin airport business operations.
The Airport Business Operations course consists of the following seven modules:
Module 1 - A Complex and Dynamic Business
Module 2 - Airport Economics
Module 3 - Regulatory Framework
Module 4 - Airport Organization
Module 5 - Strategic Planning
Module 6 - Master Planning
Module 7 - Operations Planning
